Mile 363.4
The day started with drizzle, mist, wind, and cold. It lasted until about 2pm. That sure put a damper on my spirits. At about 4pm, the mist lifted and the wind stopped. I hiked to my next campsite with lovely weather. My campsite was in a cleared field and the birds were singing. I went to sleep in good spirits.

Dad (Curtis) and daughter (Laura) have talked about through-hiking the Appalachian Trail for years. We began the journey on March 27, 2013. Dad is still on the trail. Daughter hiked through GA and racked up over 100 miles.
